CAWAYAN BRIDGE

Cawayan bridge along Daang Maharlika highway Sorsogon City, Sorsogon. It is a busy road where all the public and private vehicles are passing by from and going to the City proper of Sorsogon. This bridge is composed of five spans both new and old structures.
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) awarded the project to EC Structural Composite, Inc., to retrofit the beam and bottom slab.
The Tyfo® Fibrwrap® systems was applied in Cawayan Bridge to increase the strength of existing beams, bottom slab and other structural connections of the bridge.
