This bridge is one of the oldest bridges in Santiago City which located along Maharlika Road. It was built in the year of 1960’s. It is also a good example of old school bridgework using steel trusses. Being the oldest and considering tons of loads it carries from passing vehicles daily, the bridge was subjected to retrofitting and strengthening using TYFO FIBRWRAP SYSTEM technology through application of TYFO SCH41, Carbon Fiber to strengthen the slab flexural capacity including the replacement of some steel members.

 EC Structural Composites, Inc. completed the retrofitting works in 114 working days.
