This pier experience earthquake that lead it to deteriorating/damaged structures and since this was used for a long period of time, the pier was subjected to strengthening and retrofitting using TYFO FIBRWRAP SYSTEM technology through application of TYFO SEH25A, Glass Fiber to reinforced and rehabilitate its structural members.

EC Structural Composites, Inc completed the retrofitting works in 316 working days.
