This port project is strategically located in Southern Mindanao and caters to cargo and fishing vessels mainly coming from Cebu City. Plans for building a passenger terminal are in progress and repairs had to be done to restore the structure. Inspection of the 756 square meter R.C. Deck above and under revealed concrete spalls and corrosion of re-bars due to exposure to sea water.

EC Structural Composites, Inc. was awarded the project for repair of R.C. Deck on the last quarter of December 2011. Tyfo SEH-25A,  SW-1 and SW Systems were applied to the structural members above and below the splash zone. The project was successfully completed and turned over to the government on May 2012.

With the proposed Passenger terminal projected for the year 2012-2013, Port of Sindangan is now stable and more capable in handling port operations expansion.
