LiftStation 510 is connected to a 750-meter sewage discharge pipeline.  Upon inspection, the structure was noted of spalls and of corrosion of re-bars.  Exposed re-bars were present and water seepage can be seen on the walls.  The client wanted the structure restored and preserved with a technology that will not have long disruption to the operation.

EC Structural Composites, Inc. (ECSCI) proposed the use of the Tyfo SEH 25 System to restore and strengthen the structure. Corroded re-bars were replaced and the surface is restored to an even surface using Epoxy resin. The smooth surface is then wrapped with Tyfo SEH 25A Glass Fiber. Other civil works were undertaken to restore the whole structure.

The expediency of the repair allowed the lift station operation to resume immediately as scheduled.
